It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from there the right-hander was in motion.

"The possibility to take the field and face the challenge with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was out Australia needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to do that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
